Steel Plates Duplex Stainless Steel Plates
Duplex stainless steel has the advantages of both austenitic and ferritic structures. Compared with conventional stainless steel, it offers higher strength and excellent corrosion resistance, and is particularly resistant to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments. It is widely used in applications exposed to severe corrosive environments, such as seawater facilities, chemical plants, flue gas desulfurization systems, and water treatment facilities.

Features
- Combines the corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel with the high strength of ferritic stainless steel
- High resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments
- High resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC)
- Approximately twice as strong as standard stainless steel (SUS304 and SUS316)
- High strength allows for reduced plate thickness, contributing to weight reduction and cost savings
